When an emergency happens, every second matters. Could first responders find your medical history, allergies, or emergency contacts if you couldn't speak for yourself?

Join us on July 11th in the PV Library Community room at 2:00 PM for a vital community safety event in collaboration with the Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Members of the Corps will explain how the "File of Life" program helps EMTs provide the fastest, most accurate care possible during a crisis.
Following the presentation, PVVAC volunteers will be available in the Community Room to provide one-on-one assistance in completing your card. The library will be giving away 50 large File of Life kits (including magnetic pouches for your refrigerator) to the first 50 attendees.
